The Upcoming Fortnite Concert Event

PARTYNEXTDOOR is making his way into the world of Fortnite, and it’s happening shortly! On Thursday, July 31, Epic Games revealed that the artist will take center stage in a concert event within this popular free-to-play game on Friday, August 1 at precisely 1 p.m. ET.

The event promises a “custom-designed island,” tailored specifically to reflect PARTYNEXTDOOR’s artistic vision. Fans can expect to see his larger-than-life avatar performing hits like “Damage from Toronto,” which will also be available for purchase in the Fortnite Store as a Jam Track. Other featured songs include “M a adequate e I t T o T h e M o r n i n g” and “SOMEBODY LOVES ME.” The latter track was part of his collaborative project with Drake titled *$ome $exy $ongs 4 U*,although Drake’s appearance during this concert remains uncertain for now.

In an official statement by Sony, they described how players would begin their journey atop Toronto’s iconic CN Tower before boarding a private jet that whisks them away to South Beach for an unforgettable PND performance unlike any other. Additionally, there will be a digital representation of David Grutman’s LIV nightclub located at Miami Beach’s Fontainebleau resort serving as an exclusive afterparty venue.

During this exhilarating journey thru the game world, participants can engage in various quests and interactive elements such as scavenger hunts and parkour challenges,” continued the announcement. PARTYNEXTDOOR expressed enthusiasm about creating this unique experience: “When we had the possibility to build our own world within Fortnite, it felt like a perfect fit.” Be sure to check out the teaser clip below!
