In an unexpected advancement, the renowned band my Dying Bride has officially declared their permanent split from lead singer Aaron Stainthorpe. This declaration follows over a year since the group first entered a hiatus, and they have made it clear that this decision was not taken lightly. In their official statement, My Dying Bride expressed that their “collective resolution to proceed without him is something we never foresaw having to announce.”
Currently, my Dying Bride has not yet appointed a new permanent vocalist. Though, they have been performing live with Mikko Kotamäki, the lead singer of Swallow The Sun, and there are speculations about potential collaborations on new music.
“We have made the decision to part ways with our vocalist Aaron Stainthorpe,” stated My Dying Bride in their announcement.
“It’s important to note that this choice was not made hastily; our initial silence stemmed from taking time to reflect and thoughtfully consider how best to address this challenging situation we found ourselves in.”
