Honoring the Legacy of Bryan Johnston: The music community is in mourning following the untimely passing of Bryan Johnston, a gifted guitarist renowned for his work with Morpheus Descends. He left us at the age of 50, leaving behind a remarkable legacy. Johnston was instrumental in shaping the band’s sound on thier 1994 EP,chronicles of the Shadowed Ones,and also spearheaded another project,Mytherium,which released its sole album,Gods of Chaos,in 2014.

“With profound sadness, we share the news of our cherished guitarist’s passing,” expressed representatives from Morpheus Descends. “Bryan joined us in 1993 and his contributions are unmistakably woven into our EP, which represented a pivotal shift towards a more somber and doom-influenced style.”
