Beatport, the go-to digital music platform for DJs, is excited to announce the upcoming Beatport Connect: LA, a one-day summit taking place at the W Lodge Hollywood.
This event is tailored for up-and-coming artists, record labels, and industry professionals, aiming to ignite collaboration and foster innovation within the electronic music scene. As part of Beatport’s global Connect initiative, this gathering emphasizes the company’s commitment to nurturing local music ecosystems and “supporting the growth of the global electronic music industry in a more inclusive, sustainable, and collaborative manner,” as stated by CEO Robb McDaniels.
“Los Angeles has always been a creative epicenter for Beatport; it’s where many of our team members are located and where our ties to the electronic music community run deep,” he remarked in an official statement. “With Beatport Connect: LA,we’re not onyl investing in the future of this vibrant scene but also creating opportunities for emerging artists and professionals to forge meaningful connections.”
The agenda includes discussions on pressing topics such as AI’s role in music production, strategies for navigating attention economics, and methods for combating burnout among creatives. Attendees will also enjoy exclusive access to sunset networking cocktails at WET Deck’s luxurious setting followed by an exciting late-night Beatport Live event at The Loft produced in collaboration with Insomniac Records.
the initial lineup of speakers features notable names like SOFI TUKKER,DJ Minx,Katie Bain from Billboard dance,along with EMPIRE’s Moody Jones among other influential figures from within the industry. Additional speakers and programming details will be announced soon.
The date for Beatport Connect: LA is set for September 26th, 2025. Tickets are currently available with half of all proceeds benefiting MusiCares—a nonprofit organization established by the recording Academy that provides health services and also financial support to those working within the music industry.
