Megan Thee Stallion Triumphs in Defamation Case Against Milagro Gramz
Megan Thee Stallion has successfully prevailed in her defamation lawsuit against Milagro gramz, whose real name is Milagro Cooper. On December 1, a jury found the YouTuber and blogger liable after two days of careful consideration.
According to court reporter Meghann Cuniff, the jury concluded that Cooper not only defamed the houston-born artist but also “intentionally” caused emotional distress by collaborating wiht tory Lanez and disseminating a deepfake pornographic video featuring Megan. The jury consisted of five men and four women.
NBC News reported that jurors initially awarded Megan $75,000; however, U.S. District Court Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga later reduced this amount to $59,000. Outside the federal courthouse, Megan expressed her relief to reporters by stating, “I’m just happy.” As of now, Gramz has not released an official statement regarding the verdict.
It’s noteworthy that back in July, gramz was ordered to pay $5,000 towards megan’s attorney fees for compelling disclosure of her text messages.
<< p>In October of this year, Megan secured sanctions after it was revealed that Cooper had deleted thousands of text messages despite being legally required to preserve them.
<< p>The original lawsuit filed by Megan in October 2024 accused Cooper of acting as a “mouthpiece” for Lanez—who is currently serving a ten-year sentence for shooting her in 2020—and claimed she orchestrated efforts to demean and spread falsehoods about her character.
<< p>“It’s time we hold bloggers accountable for years of harassment and misinformation regarding my personal life,” stated the artist known as “Hot Girl Meg.”
<< p>During last month’s testimony, she shared how Cooper’s actions created significant distress among many who began discussing her negatively: “I felt like no one cared that I had been shot,” she recounted before ABC News. “Peopel were making jokes about it.”
<< p>“There was a period when I genuinely didn’t care if I lived or died,” she continued emotionally. “I felt like I didn’t matter at all; it seemed pointless even being alive.” She expressed feelings of exhaustion from enduring such trauma daily.

This recent ruling adds another victory to an already impressive list for Megan. The rapper obtained a restraining order against Lanez earlier this year in January when a Los Angeles judge issued an injunction prohibiting any harassing behaviour towards her over five years.
Additonally,in March Plies withdrew his copyright infringement case against both GloRilla and Soulja Boy concerning thier collaboration on “Wanna Be,” which further solidified Megans legal standing within industry disputes during this period.< P >
