NLE Choppa, also known as NLE The Great, is intensifying his feud with YoungBoy Never Broke Again. On Thursday evening (November 27),he released his latest single titled “Hello Revenge,” where he aimed more barbs at the Baton Rouge rapper.
The lyrics include lines like, “Rap became irrelevant; I’m here to revive it / I’m real while you’re just a fabrication / YB, Louis V belt across yoru back / Someone better protect him before he crosses that line.” This particular reference to striking someone with a “belt” may allude to last month’s video for “KO,” where NLE was seen hitting a lookalike of YoungBoy with such an item.
Later in the track,NLE addresses the viral meme proclaiming ”YB better,” which fans of YoungBoy frequently comment on his posts related to their feud. He raps, “They say ‘YB better,’ who? I’m living proof that’s not true,” adding that they used to rank him low but now it’s time for a change in narrative.
You can check out “Hello Revenge” below.
This new release from the Memphis artist comes about ten days after YoungBoy appeared to take shots at him on “Zero IQ Freestyle,” which dropped on November 17.
Apart from mentioning celebrities like Kevin Durant and Ken Carson, NBA’s verses included lines such as, “forget you; you’re not even Five and healing alongside real gangsters / ‘Respond,’ but he never followed through; I said no.”
This month earlier, NLE shared with Rolling Stone that inspiration for “KO” came from an intense dream he had. He described it as holding onto a young boy’s head in one hand while bringing it towards his father within that dream state.
Meanwhile, NBA YoungBoy was set to release his new album titled Slime Yowl on Friday (November 28) at midnight. However, fans might need to wait just a bit longer for this project’s arrival.
