A version of Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign’s collaboration “New Body” featuring Ice spice may never be released. On October 16th, Ty confirmed during an interview that the artist known for “in Ha Mood” had indeed laid down a verse for this long-anticipated project originally meant to feature Nicki Minaj.
“I’m not sure how people find out about these things,” he told Complex’s Jordan Rose. “Yes, she recorded a verse; however, we haven’t progressed any further.” He noted that while there exists a version of the song stored on an intriguing drive, he couldn’t guarantee if it would ever make it onto streaming services.
