The Swedish alternative rock band Mud Be Troubled is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated debut album on September 12, 2025, through Welfare Sounds & Records. This new project follows their acclaimed EP from 2023, titled noise Pollution, and showcases the band’s evolution into a unique fusion of intense noise, dynamic guitar riffs, and catchy melodies.
Established in 2022 by musicians Elliot Högfeldt and Casper Salenfalk, Mud be Troubled quickly solidified their lineup with bassist Teo Janssen and drummer Nils Hoff. They dedicated themselves to passionate songwriting and electrifying live performances. Their debut single “Ancient Out / Vicious Valerie” introduced audiences to their unrefined sound, which was further honed in the EP recorded at Welfare Sounds with producers Per Stålberg andKalle Lilja strong>, later mastered by Hans Olsson strong >at Svenska Grammofonstudion.
The band has as earned a reputation for delivering high-energy performances across Sweden and also various European nations including germany, portugal, The Netherlands, and Denmark. With their first full-length album approaching release date, they are ready to reach even broader audiences.
A European Tour: Celebrating New Beginnings
Mud Be Troubled will launch a European tour in honor of this significant release starting September 10 in Copenhagen. The tour will continue until December featuring several headline shows throughout Scandinavia.
